Hole #10
Hole Number ten is a tricky starting hole for the back nine. As you stand on the tee box, you will notice that it is a dogleg left and you may notice that there is a pond about three quarters of the way to the green. This hole is one of three risk/reward holes on the back nine and some tough guys try to go for this green off the tee. It can be done, but it will have to be an exceptional tee shot to end up in play. Your play off the tee should be to land the ball as close to the front of the pond as you dare. Landing your ball right will just increase the distance of your second shot up to an additional 100 yards. A good shot off the tee will leave you 60-80 yards to the green.
Your second shot to the green will have to be tight. This green slopes from back to front and right to left and is very receptive so go for the flag. The green is heavily guarded by a hazard running along the right side and back side. Missing left leaves you with a shot out of heavy rough to the green above you.
