Waukewan Golf Club
Hole #11
Hole number eleven is pretty straight foward and a fairly long par three for Waukewan. As you stand at your tee, take note of the wind speed and direction. You may notice it is blowing straight in your face which will be cause to choose a longer club than usual. This green runs away from the front and flattens out a bit toward the back. It is sometimes difficult to land short and run on here so you may have to fly your tee shot to the green. Ladies seem to have a great deal of success with hole in ones here so keep your fingers crossed girls. Missing left here usually ends up with a bunker shot to the green unless you are too far left and end up across the hazard line in the woods. Missing right will yield a shot from heavy rough and off the back could end up in the woods. As you are midway to the green, it is sometimes helpful to sight the pin placement for the thirteenth green as it is difficult to see when you are approaching that green from below.
